DAILY Video Coverage
WHO
Daily Race Recap Videos typically focus on the pointy end of the race, since that side of the action tends to be more visually interesting. As the winners are determined, the focus shifts to the remaining racers and their stories shine through.
Alden Roth is the man behind the camera. With over ten years of multimedia content creation experience, he knows that good storytelling is key to making your content resonate with your audience. He always strives to produce the highest quality content possible.
WHAT
The daily recap videos will range from 30-90 seconds in length. During the race, the content will be recorded in a classic, landscape orientation, but the videos edited during the race will be formatted for vertical distribution (IG Reels, Stories, or similar).
This allows for the footage to be repurposed for a wider range of content and platforms after the race is over.
A longer film that gives a more complete retelling of the race’s story is edited after the race is over.
WHEN
Filming will happen at all times of the day in the field, starting the day before the race starts (Day 0) and continuing through the last day of the race (or a different date as you so choose).
Videos will be released on a one-day delay - Day 0 is released on the morning of Day 1, Day 1 is released the morning of Day 2, and so on.
WHY
Videos allow you to tell deeper stories, showcasing the visual beauty of the race and location. The short-form content makes it easy for the audience to connect with the racers and feel like they are part of the experience.
It’s also a great additional benefit for your sponsors where they can gain more visibility and impressions with your audience.
HOW
Alden will join your media crew or other control car and travel throughout the race with you. He will film when the crew finds racers or other subjects and will edit the videos while traveling or waiting for racers.
If your event is unable to supply transport in one of the control cars, Alden can provide his own transportation, but this will result in shorter episodes, higher costs, or both depending on the race.
